OnePhatMan: No diets, no pills, no bull

Spaghetti

I eat this stuff all the time because it’s quick, easy, and good.

Ingredients:

1 - 1.5 pounds ground turkey breast
plenty of minced or chopped fresh garlic
1 or 2 chopped onions
2 small cans or 1 big can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 large can tomato paste
1 small can sliced black olives (with jalapeno, if you’re of a mind), drained
2 jars Ragu light pasta sauce
salt & pepper
oregano and basil to taste
1 16-oz package angel hair pasta
large pot water

Directions:

Set up a large pot of water to boil
Cook onion and garlic in a LARGE Pam-sprayed pan on medium heat until they start to turn clear. I use a big 6-quart pot for this, because I end up mixing everything together at the end.
Add the turkey breast and brown it, making sure to chop it into small pieces as it cooks.
By now, the water should be boiling. Add the angel hair to the water. I like to break it into smaller pieces, for less mess when I eat it. Make sure you stir the angel hair regularly; it cooks in about 5 or 6 minutes.
Add the mushrooms, black olives, Ragu, tomato paste, and spices to the turkey mix. Mix everything well.
Lower the heat on the sauce and leave it on long enough to get hot, stirring regularly.
Drain the angel hair and serve. If you want, you can mix everything in one big pot for convenience.
